世衛組織將柴油廢氣列為致癌物質，國內專家表示，長期暴露在廢氣環境中的族群，如機車族及推土機、貨車、公車司機等，最好戴上口罩自保；口罩雖無法完全隔絕廢氣，但有戴總比沒戴好。
